Everytime it gave me an error saying "the page doesn't exist", and then direct to me this old post again. I am not sure if it is just me.Amihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07744078497819915126noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6364167854783221638.post-25849377907919672572011-01-05T13:45:36.407-05:002011-01-05T13:45:36.407-05:00You're sooooo lucky to have fresh tomatoes. I do agree with you about lettuce...it's so easy to grow and surprisingly cold-hardy. If you like spinach, leeks, collards and/or broccoli...they also can take the cold.Susanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/01106128705768954876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6364167854783221638.post-26123959770161793302011-01-05T06:53:47.034-05:002011-01-05T06:53:47.034-05:00There is nothing like the flavor of a home grown t...There is nothing like the flavor of a home grown tomato, and a home grown salad. If I never grow another veggie,I will always find room for tomatoes and lettuce.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08302610545871593886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6364167854783221638.post-63034520752583544292011-01-04T09:56:12.287-05:002011-01-04T09:56:12.287-05:00Your winter veggies are looking great, NanaK! I plant seeds so my kids can experience the wonder, but they lose interest pretty quickly. Me? I'm out there everyday watching the changes!Floridagirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16357453320897720393noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6364167854783221638.post-90501166395430247102011-01-04T06:22:28.037-05:002011-01-04T06:22:28.037-05:00NanaK, You should sprinkle some spinach seeds in a...NanaK, You should sprinkle some spinach seeds in a container as well. Fresh Spinach is great in salads and on sandwiches, it's fairly easy to grow like lettuce. I agree, vegetable gardening is totally different than flower gardening.Darlahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09976608531478457839noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6364167854783221638.post-4846607238713463962011-01-03T23:09:15.504-05:002011-01-03T23:09:15.504-05:00There is always more to learn and enjoy in the gar...There is always more to learn and enjoy in the garden. Your tomatoes are looking great... it's good you could take them into the patio during the cold freezes. I agree lettuce is a must-have for a cool-season vegetable. I think you're winter veggies have done remarkably well! <br />MeemsMeemshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16341998120938921741noreply@blogger.com
