Special Visitors to My Garden

On the very early morning news program the local NBC affliate has a local garden feature on Fridays.  Leigh and Moe came over to visit My Garden Path and shoot some video.  Of course, fittingly enough, the spot aired on April Fool's Day!  Mmmm......

If you would like to see their view of my garden you can view the video clip here.

I had a lot of fun doing this as did my grandson, Landin.  I certainly can see lots of empty spaces in their view of my garden.  I think I'll get busy this weekend filling at least some of those empty spaces.

  2. That was a neat little video Kay. I'd be a nervous wreck, but you were cool as a cucumber. What a huge wonderful old shade tree and look at all that you are growing under and around it. This was an inspiration to me.

  3. Get outta town!!! You are famous, NanaK! Enjoyed seeing your veggie "bed" from the long view and your grandson who is so full of energy. He is lucky to be learning so much from his grandmother. I must say, you should've given us a heads up on this airing. I will have to check the listings and see what time this show airs on Fridays. I really never turn on my TV until 7 or 8 at night...but I'd make an exception for a local garden feature.

(By the way, I think you're very brave for going on television! You are very well-spoken. I'm with FlowerLady...I'd be a complete nervous wreck.)

  4. That is very cool! This will become a precious memory for your grandson for sure! Love that oak tree too! Don't worry about the empty space, actually I envy you have so much space for the plants to grow in. I pack all my plants even when they are young in my tiny space, and then soon find out I need to do lots of moving around.

  5. Kay,
I had my DVR set and got to watch it this morning... very early. You did a great job and I LOVED seeing the wide views of your back garden. That old oak would just be so much fun to plant under! Landin was adorable, too. Really NICE interview.
